The American Council on Education (ACE) has invited Oregon to participate in the American College Application Campaign (ACAC). College Application Week (CAW) can open the door for students by encouraging them to take a significant step toward college in their senior year. It is particularly important for students who would be first in their families to attend college and students who have not yet seriously considered going to college. Application to nearby, open-admissions colleges – and even more distant and more selective institutions – gives students the confidence and encouragement that college is possible.
We are pleased to announce the 7 pilot sites participating in Oregon College Week 2012!
Brookings-Harbor High School, Brookings
Chiloquin High School, Chiloquin
Hermiston High School, Hermiston
Native American Youth & Family Center/Early College Academy, Portland
North Valley High School, Grants Pass
Portland OIC/Rosemary Anderson High School, Portland
Taft High 7-12, Lincoln City

In addition, the following resources have been made available by the American Council on Education, the Southern Regional Education Board's Go Alliance, and other agencies that have sponsored College Application Weeks in their states. Many of these will be updated with Oregons-specific information prior to our inaugural College Application Week, but we encourage you to peruse these sample documents as you consider hosting a College Application Week event at your site.

CAW LOGO AND "I APPLIED!" IMAGES
We are making three image files available for your use in promotional materials. Clicking the link will allow you to view the image; to save and use it, click on the "File" menu and select download. Then choose "save file" to save the image to your computer. You'll then be able to insert it in your documents. All three files are available in TIFF versions, which are very large files but may be best if you need to scale the image to a large size or want to use the image on t-shirts or other similar items.
The Oregon CAW logo should be used for most of your marketing needs. It is available in the TIFF version as well as in a .png file (good for the web and small images on printed materials)
The 2-color "I Applied!" image is the same as that used on temporary tattoos that will be provided to students who submit applications during your CAW event.
The 1-color "I Applied!" image is the same as that used on nametags/stickers that will be provided for use during your CAW event.
