Topical Discussion #3 - June 8, 2012
Working with Undocumented Students, with John Almaguer, immigration attorney
Hosted at Southern Oregon University; Ashland, OR

The son of Naturalized citizens from Mexico John Almaguer was drawn to the practice of U.S. immigration law.  John has practiced in the non-profit and private sectors and is currently with the Idiart Law Group, LLC in Medford.  For over twleve years his practice has been limited to naturalization and family-based immigration through adjustment of status in the United States and consular processing abroad.  He enjoys outreach to the community whether it be writing articles for a local latino magazine, Caminos, or travelling throughout the state speaking on a variety of immigration related topics.  Due to his experiences in education John has always had an interest in working with and for student populations.
